How the dice work

Fingerboard Game of S.K.A.T.E. rules

  1. The setter rolls the dice and tries the trick.
  2. If they land it, every other skater has to copy it. Miss and you get a letter.
  3. If the setter misses, the turn passes to the next skater.
  4. On your last letter you get 2 attempts (or 3, if you choose it before starting).
  5. Spell the whole word and you are out. The last skater standing wins.

Pick the word: S.K.A.T.E. for the classic game, M.O.N.K.Y. or S.K.8. for a quick one.

FAQ

What is a fingerboard trick generator?

It is a tool that randomly picks the trick you have to do on your fingerboard: stance, trick and obstacle. Use it to break your routine, learn new tricks and play with friends.

How do you play Game of S.K.A.T.E. on a fingerboard?

One skater sets a trick and, if they land it, everyone else has to copy it. Each miss adds a letter of the word. On the last letter you get 2 or 3 attempts. Spell the word and you are out; the last one standing wins.

Do I need Monky modules to use it?

No. You can play on flat or with whatever obstacles you have. If you own Monky modules, turn them on in the settings and they will show up in the dice too.

Is it free? Do I need to download anything?

It is free, with nothing to download and no sign-up. It runs in the browser on your phone, tablet or computer, and remembers your game even if you close the page.

What difficulty levels are there?

Easy, medium and pro. Easy gives tricks like the ollie or pop shove-it; medium adds kickflips, heelflips and grinds like the 5-0; pro brings tricks like the 360 flip, the hardflip or the smith grind.
